What is Snehapoorvam Scholarship?
This is a welfare program that started by Kerala social security mission (KSSM) working under department of Social Justice Government of Kerala. It is meant for orphans or children who have lost either their mother or father and belong to below poverty line or low income families.
The primary purpose of this scheme is to ensure that no child drop out of the school due to loss of parents. With the help of this scholarship scheme, eligible students studying in Government schools or government aided schools colleges in Kerala received monthly financial aid, until they complete their education.

Snehapoorvam Scholarship amount

Who is eligible?
Before submission of your application form, we request you to check eligibility requirements:
- Applicant must be permanent resident of Kerala.
- Candidate studying in government or government aided school in class 1st to degree level.
- Those who lost either father, mother or both parents are eligible.
- Mast belong to BPL (below poverty line) family.
- Annual family income less than 2 lakh Rupees.
- Student leaving with extended family in orphanages, or with single parents can also apply.

Online Application (through KSSM portal)
- Go to the question website which is https://kssm.ikm.in
